I had been putting off for a few weeks the setting up of the Car Bar.
It wasn’t as quick as the 15mins suggested but I got there after using the written instructions and the video.
It is a great fit on the Toyota Rav 4.
However I am anxious that there is no vertical support - have have kids who may lean on it. It will move if leaned on (as expected) So I attached a removable underneath which makes a solid base - I would recommend the manufacturer consider this as an add on option and develop are more aesthetically pleasing leg support.
The quality is incredible very high standard. The slip resistant finish on work surface is ideal.

As a Fire Investigator working on scene and out of a van the Car Bar table is amazing! Somewhere to place down camera/technical kit, work on laptop or sit having a coffee whilst musing over 'cause hypothesis'! Tailgate on van protects from weather, Car Bar table provides outdoor office!
(and at the weekend perfect for outdoors, MTB and camping for coffee, picnic table, bike maintenance etc.)!

the table is easy to set up very sturdy when fitted to the car i use mine to set up my radio controlled planes up ,down at the flying field . packs away neatly into the car boot without taking to much room up . Also got good customer service form this company all-round very happy with the table . Neil
I ordered it for testing because I liked the idea of using a table for 3 different vehicles. I haven't had it for long, but I don't want to miss it anymore. He makes everyday life easier in so many ways.
Above all, he takes away a place in the car because he hangs behind it. Not only when camping, even if you have long trips, and want to make a fresh coffee or lubricate a loaf of bread at the rest area. The fully packed trunk can stay that way and yet there is space for these little things.
The Car Bar is an excellent product and it fit very well on my 2020 Volvo XC90. The structure is very accurate and carefully designed, the materials are excellent and Richard is helpful and kind. Punctual and fast shipping.
I recommend it for everyone use the car for work or holiday.

Initially i have been trying to find someone who wanted to sell a used Volvo table extension to me…. with no luck at all because there are not a lot of them anymore around.
Then I found the much better and improved version made by Richard in the UK. First website info made me contact Richard to get more info on the product.
At this moment I have ordered and installed the table in my V70 (my2007) and enjoying the fantastic product quality (much improved compared with Volvo’s original version) and easiness of mounting and dismounting the table in my car (15 sec job).
My whole customer experience from initial contact to mounting the table in my car has been extremely positive. Richard takes the hassle away with regards to import tax (for us living in EU land) easy payment and shipment. It all worked out very well and no question was to much to ask.

Just received my XC Table and had a chance to use it this weekend. I'm very impressed with the build quality and components. Fits snugly in my P2 (US 2004 XC70), as if it's the original factory option. Install and removal were simple. I really like that I can sit either side of it in the hatch without bumping the table, and there's still plenty of room on it for coffee setup, etc. I also really appreciate that there aren't any loose parts to lose when stowed. Shipped quick to US, well packaged. Thanks for this great camping and road-trip accessory!
Got my car bar after a 4 week wait for re-stock (kept informed of progress throughout) and it was absolutely worth the wait.
First impressions were that it is well designed and engineered, assembly and fitting was quick and easy - 15 mins out of the box. Table is stable and perfect for making coffee after paddle boarding. Folded, it takes up little space in the back of the car and I’m looking forward to many more trips this summer.

Great idea, not very practice as more difficult to fit than shown on video. Only used it once, now in shed used as a shelf
Bought the Car Bar for our T5. Very good product and will allow us to make more use of the back of the van.
The only issue is the fact for a van the configuration of the support arm is different. The instructions were ok but were more tailored to someone using in a car which meant putting it together was slightly confusing.
Great product nothing else on the market like it.
Some parts are cheaper example nut could nylock nuts some bolts have 3d printed heads.
Mounting video is generic some specific video for different vehicles would be handy.
Overall excited to be able to have a kitchen cooking area at the rear of the van.
The lead time for this product was long and the customs made it realistically too expensive.
Keep up the good work excited to see if you make any other products that are this smart.

Really pleased with the table. Bit of adjustment and it fits fantastically.
Instructions were difficult to follow in places due to variances for different vehicles etc but set up not overly difficult
The quality of the product is great but unfortunately it lacks stability when attached to my car, thought it would have been more sturdy.

I’m guessing the car bar came about in same way that I found it by searching for the original Volvo accessory (and not finding it anywhere!). Bought it to go on my xc70 after making decision not to by a camper. In my excitement, and because I love having my nails done, my friends have nicknamed it the Nail Bar. They don’t mock when we get fresh brews on!
Easy to put together and seems pretty strong/secure/well made. Just tweaking atm to get used to it and setting height etc. very much looking forward to next years road trips and camping. Very happy!
Have put together the table,pretty straightforward as bit daunted when we saw all the parts.However instructions very clear and concise.
Unable to comment on using it as weather atrocious so far but looking forward to using it .
There was a delay due to things out with makers control but he was great at keeping us up to date,very pleased so far
